The Board Members are selected from each of the five adhering bodies. Two others are selected at large from the General Assembly, which meets during the International Congress on Circumpolar Health (ICCH) held every three years. Additional Board members are selected by the Affiliated Members.
There are currently twelve Board members. IUCH activities are managed on a day-to-day basis by the Past President, Dr. Anders Koch.
Due to the postponement of the 18th ICCH congress from 2021 to 2022, the election period for the current Board is 2018-2022.
